The new 2017 Morgan Roadster gets a few tweaks and upgrades here and there that makes it a retro car that has adapted a lot of modern technology into it making it highly desirable even for a younger audience. The external styling of the car is very retro with a large grill up front, long bonnet with fins that suck air, round headlamps, round indicators and large shoulder lines and an open top profile along with spoke wheels that are fully finished with chrome and is flashy and fully retro on the outside. The front windshield is outlined with chrome and the mirrors are fully chrome.
This soft top continues the appeal with a basic looking three spoke steering wheel, a lot of wood work on the dashboard and a wooden steering, manual instrument clusters which are again round. The seats are all leather and the interiors are of high quality with wood, leather, and aluminum all over the place. This is the car that has been there for hundred years and manages to look like it.
The Morgan Roadster, like all other Morgan cars, are made by hand, by human intervention only to perfection and that shows to the amount of detail they have given to finish the product. There is no wooden chassis anymore but a modern aluminum one making it lighter and more rigid. You can take the doors off and drive it top less and door less. The car is very simple to make it a drop top, fully closed vehicle and it makes this car a pure motoring experience and a convenient one at that making it an experiential car at best.
